We are getting a few inquiries for paid work in the Southwest and from Perth. People always ask how much we charge.
We support causes close to our heart with unpaid work, only requesting a contribution to travel cost.
Our fees are $100 per person and hour, plus a feed and drinks when the gig is not in the town where we are staying.
You might ponder whether this is too much, but would not question a plumber who supplies their own tools to provide an outcome that makes you happy plus charges a call-out fee on top of the regular charges.
Musicians have a minimum engagement fee. It’s $250 per person for three hours, not that anyone would play for three hours in a row anyway.
However, we are happy to barter for payment if cash is in short supply. How about a carton of wine, fresh produce, skillshare? We can work this out and will consider whatever you have.
We will be going on the road again in 2024. We plan to leave the Southwest on 24 March, heading to Victoria and then north as winter sets in. Get in touch if you like us to stop by and sing a few songs.
